We are proud to announce our newest staff additions:
- Ron Sturm has joined Schmitt Technical Services, LLC as Principal Petrographer. Ron has over twenty years experience in the field of petrographic examination of concrete, construction materials and construction products. Ron has assumed leadership of the Petrographic Services area with a focus on growth and customer service. Ron is a graduate of University of Illinois. He can be contacted at:
- Bill Rebel has joined Schmitt Technical Sevices, LLC as Principal Chemist. Bill brings many years of experience as a chemist in the adhesives, biofuels and consulting industries. Bill's expertise gives us the opportunity to provide our clients with an array of chemical services to troubleshoot construction field problems. Bill is heading up and developing our Chemical Services area. He is in the midst of buildout of new chemical labs, ordering and set up of equipment and instrumentation that allows Schmitt Technical Services to perform both routine and forensics chemical testing of cement, concrete, coatings, adhesives, flooring systems and more. Bill is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University. Bill can be contacted at:
- Greg Schmitt has joined Schmitt Technical Services, LLC as Petrographic Assistant. Greg comes to us as a former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student. Greg assists Jim, Ron and Bill in sample preparation for both chemical and petrographic analysis, field work, laboratory testing and administrative duties. Greg can be contacted at:
- Stephanie Grinwald, our most recent addition, joined Schmitt Technical Services, LLC as Adminstrative Assistant. Steph is a former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student. Steph assists Jim in managing finance and administration functions of the company. Steph can be contacted at:
